Immediate release of the arrested militants of SEP in Turkey

Stop the repression and state terror against the labour movement!
Once again, the Erdogan regime shows its repulsive face against the labour movement and its revolutionary vanguard. 19 activists of the Trotskyist Socialist Workers’ Party (-Sosyalist Emekçiler Partisi – SEP) were arrested after police raids on their homes in several cities in Turkey without even being informed of any charges!
It is now becoming clear that the Turkish bourgeoisie, with Turkey’s increasing involvement in regional wars in the Middle East, needs the eradication of the democratic rights of the working class, the abolition of fundamental political freedoms, collective expression and action.
However, even this wave of repression, like the previous ones against the revolutionary left and its revolutionary vanguard, will fall into the void. The authoritarian, militaristic state of emergency against the working class and its organizations will inevitably lead to strengthening the revolutionary forces of the working class, organizing the struggles against poverty, repression and war even more effectively.
In Greece and Turkey, workers face common problems. Mitsotakis and Erdogan, in relation to the working class and its struggles, are two different sides of the same authoritarian, anti-labour, and nationalist coin.
With our common class struggles and internationalist solidarity, let’s stop them.
– Immediate release of all the arrested militants of SEP!
Solidarity is our weapon – War against the capitalists war!
In Greece and Turkey, common class struggles against poverty, repression, armaments, nationalism and war.
